No light: no life!

Let’s think about that for a moment.

Mr. M was an inspiration again this week. He found a site that shows all the dark and light spots on earth at night from around the world, shown from above the earth. It is very interesting. You need to look at it. You can zoom in on any part of the world. It’s called Dark Site Finder.

Look at the United States. Divided right in half. Interesting.

This started the ol’ rusty wheels to spin. What if we think of it in terms of spiritual darkness?

Dark and light.

In the beginning, God created the light and said it was good. It was good for the earth. All plant matter, animals, and humans need light to exist.

As I’ve mentioned before, God’s voice DNA, His Word, still pulsates through every living thing. All matter, including the stars, resonates or resounds by reflection. In other words, it means to pulsate with the same frequency as the source.

That DNA exists in the light spectrum.

No light; no life!

Just as the earth needs sunlight to exist physically, so we need Sonlight to live spiritually. Plants shrivel up and die from lack of light, and our soul will shrivel up and die from lack of God’s Light.

Jesus said in His Sermon on the Mount that we are the light of the world. We are not to hide that Light but let it shine before men (Matt. 5:14-16).

But how can we be the light of the world? Jesus said He was the Light of the world. If we follow Christ, if He is our Lord and Savior, we won’t walk in darkness and His Light of Life will be ours.

Do we allow His Light to shine in us? Does this precious cross-shaped Light emblazoned on our soul shine for others to see?

No light; no life!

But there is a great deal of darkness around the world. Darkness in people’s souls So many need God’s Light. We are to be that Light to draw others to love the Jesus we love.

You may be the only light in another’s life. Is your Light burning bright enough for them to see it or has it dimmed?

If we allow darkness of any kind to invade our heart, our fellowship with the Lord of Light suffers and dims, for as Paul said, “What fellowship can light have with darkness?” (2 Cor. 6:14b AMP)

Just as physical storms sometimes knock out the power and leave us in the dark, so a spiritual storm can do the same, if we’re not careful. Just remember, in your darkest hours, the Lord is your Light.

No light; no life!

The Lord’s Light penetrates those dark corners of our heart, those secret places of hiding and brings comfort, guidance, and revelation.

Where you are, whether in school, on the job, or at home, that’s the place where your light needs to be shining, to bring this same Light of comfort to them.

How far reaching is your light? Are you as that beam from the Lighthouse, stretching out to guide others in from the dark storm to their safety?

Is the Light of Christ resonating within you, pulsating with the same frequency as your Source?

Are you that beam of Light in your part of the world?

Let it shine. Let it shine. Let it shine!

Blessings of Light to you…Lynn
